Judgment Day

As if having six PBS channels weren't enough, we rented a PBS special from the Library.

This film was based on the trail that happened in Dover, Pennsylvania. If your a strong Creationist beliver, you'd find this film a bit frustrating but it does raise some good points that Creationists need to consider. The original intent of having more than Darwinism taught in the schools was a good issue to raise, unfortunately the motivation behind it was not and ultimately is what lost the case for teaching "Intelligent Design" in schools.

Now if you watch the film, the liberal influence is very strong but once you see the reenactment of the trial you'll start to understand why the film was not neutral towards both sides, but rather bias towards Darwinism. It would have been encouraging to see statements from scientists who could help prove that the theory of an "Intelligent Designer" was a scientific theory but nothing of the sort was presented. Rather they presented a scientist who did believe in Intelligent Design but had a theory that was able to be proven otherwise.

The film helps you realize how Creationists go about in a very unintelligent way and how because of that Evolutionist can bury them in the dirt with scientific evidence. I hope that maybe one day an intelligent person will go about this in the right way to have a positive effect and therefore opening the doors to allow different theories taught on how life in our universe came to be.
