With too much time on our hands while we wait for job interviews, we have made the most of our spare time with cooking some good homemade meals.
Since Sunday turned out to be cold and wet, we decided to stay home and make some German Pretzels.

Johannes did all the hard work of making the dough and I got the fun job of forming the pretzels.
He didn't know making pretzels was going to be so much work!
We forgot to buy another baking sheet so Johannes got creative and covered our muffin pan in tinfoil so we had another place to cook pretzels on. He's such a thinking.

Today Johannes has decided to try out our hand-me-down food processor for tonight's dinner of Veggie Burgers.
He quickly discovered how fun and dangerous this machine is. (not to mention loud - Thanks Mom.)
But tonight will be the real test of how well these veggie burgers turn out, so far things smell great!
